To a victim of anti-social behaviour, it is the most important thing in their lives. We recognise this and have a number of ways in which we are working to prevent anti-social behaviour and take action if it does happen.
"I felt that any time I could ring and get excellent service"
Examples of anti-social behaviour include:
- High noise levels
- Racial harassment
- Immoral use of the premises
- Threats of violence
The behaviour must be something more than a general day-to-day event which a reasonable person can handle.
Through risk assessments and partnership working we seek to tailor our anti-social behaviour support to meet the needs of the person experiencing it.
Our approach will also mean a stronger link with key agencies and a greater emphasis on referrals at an early stage in order to intervene at the quickest point.
"One person dealt with the case, in my opinion that is why everything went well"
We will always look to sustain tenancies where possible but having signed up to the Respect Charter we make a clear commitment that we challenge bad behaviour and take swift, proportionate and effective action against perpetrators of anti social behaviour.
