How to become an Independent Board Member
Independent Board members are non-Group tenants.

Independent members bring a range of professional skills to the Board. This could include finance, business, development, housing, legal or technical. To comply with good governance, it is a requirement for the Group to keep the right balance of skills and experience on the three Boards.

Any current vacancies will be published on the website.

How to become a Tenant Board Member
You must be a tenant of Three Rivers Housing or Berwick Borough Housing.

You must have maintained your tenancy to a high standard and the company is not taking any formal action against you for rent arrears recovery, unacceptable behaviour etc.

All potential Tenant Board Members must are aware of the roles and responsibilities of becoming a Board member.

It is important to be aware that a Tenant Board Member is not on the Board to represent tenants; instead they provide a tenant view on Board discussions and the future direction of the company.
